The Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students provides the standards of services for identifying and serving gifted/talented students at all grade levels.
The current State Plan was adopted in 2024 by the Texas State Board of Education and outlines district responsibilities and accountability for meeting the educational needs of gifted/talented students, including fiscal responsibility.
Offered here is the latest (2024) revision of the State Plan, with English and Spanish language versions in a single document.

It is a nicely printed version of the Texas State Plan. However, the previous version that Region 13 did had a beautiful, thick, and colored cover and then had thick, glossy paper for the inside. This newer version has thin, matte paper for all pages. The cover is colored, but again it's just a lot thinner and may not hold up as well as the previously printed edition.
