November 20, 2024 - What Not to Say: The Art of Verbal De-escalation

This session is designed for educators looking to master the art of de-escalation by understanding what not to say in challenging situations. Effective communication is crucial in diffusing conflicts and fostering a positive learning environment. Participants will discover strategies for staying calm under pressure, using positive language, and resolving tensions before they escalate. Additionally, this session will also offer practical insights into common verbal pitfalls and phrases that can inadvertently escalate tensions, empowering educators to navigate difficult conversations with confidence.

Each 30-minute session is offered multiple times throughout the day to fit your schedule. Be sure to purchase by 3:00 PM the day before your chosen session to receive your connection details in time.
