The Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented Students provides understanding of Texas state mandates with regard to identifying and serving gifted/talented students at all grade levels.

The State Plan was adopted in 2000 by the Texas State Board of Education and outlines district responsibilities and accountability for meeting the educational needs of gifted/talented students.

Offered here is the latest (2019) revision of the State Plan, with English and Spanish language versions in a single document.
