Region 13 Proclamation 2020 Instructional Materials Adoption (IMA) Showcase
Region 13 will host a Publisher Showcase in support of Proclamation 2020 on Monday, February 3, 2020.
The Region 13 Instructional Materials Showcase is an event for publishers to showcase their Proclamation 2020 related products to school district decision makers. It is an opportunity for district staff to make informed choices by connecting with publishers, asking questions, and learning more about available materials to meet district instructional needs.
We have two options available for publishers to showcase their materials; exhibit table space and 40 minute breakout presentation sessions. Publishers may choose between the two options, or participate in both. Tables and presentation sessions may be purchased individually, and are limited to two per publisher. First priority will be given to publishers on the SBOE list of adopted materials.
The purchase of an exhibit table will include one 6'x3' table and two chairs. Electricity is available to most tables and onsite guest WiFi is available free of charge. Publisher representatives may bring in their own laptops or small video screens no larger than 32" for demonstration purposes. Volume must be modulated to a reasonable level to allow other vendors to demonstrate their products. Vendors with equipment not in compliance will be asked to disable or remove the equipment. Publisher set-up is scheduled for Sunday, 2/2/20 between 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
$125 per table (limit 2 per publisher)
Breakout sessions for publishers to present to district attendees will be scheduled in 40 minute increments in one of our Region 13 training rooms. All rooms are equipped with a ceiling-mounted projector and screen, and a WiFi connected presentation station that includes a Dell laptop computer and room audio. Your breakout session times will be assigned to you after your purchase.
$75 per session (limit 2 per publisher)
Teachers, administrators, curriculum coordinators, etc. from our 60 district service area will be invited to attend the Showcase free of charge. Our Showcase is a “come and go” event from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Districts will have access to the Presentation Session schedule ahead of time to help plan their day. We will also provide computer lab access and discussion space to district participants who want to collaborate, preview, and discuss available materials for purchase.
