Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is an evidence-based practice for putting systems in place to provide positive academic and behavioral outcomes in your district or campus. The framework guides district or campus teams in developing specific school-wide behavior and discipline management infrastructure that supports your school and improves behavior outcomes.

Our specialists work with your district and campus to provide support/coaching in the initial PBIS training, implementation, and continued development of your PBIS framework.

What our PBIS training provides:

• Two days of professional development for your campus PBIS team members before the school year starts, held here at ESC Region 13.
• Three onsite coaching visits throughout the year where our specialist will work with your administrative staff and PBIS team to address your unique campus needs.
• An additional PBIS training for the team in the fall to address more elements of the PBIS framework.
• A final day of PD in the spring to assess your current level of implementation and plan your focus and action steps for the upcoming year.
