After DPS has sent you a packet in the mail, you may begin teaching Course 101.
This CD-ROM contains the same materials as those found in the downloadable version and the Black & White Printed Paper Copy.
The Less Tears More Years Act requires new drivers to have more driving experience prior to obtaining a license. Therefore, young drivers must receive an additional 20 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. For a Behind-the-Wheel Instruction Guide and a Behind-the-Wheel Instruction Log for you to print to document the 20 hours, refer to the “Special Notice” section of our website: http://www5.esc13.net/drivers.
You must print and complete the Student Workbook, Classroom Progress Assessments, Module 13, and the Behind-the-Wheel Instruction Log and take these documents to DPS as proof of Course 101 completion.
