WebCCAT

WebCCAT (Web-Based Comprehensive Curriculum Assessment Tool) provides educators with a repository of more than 33,000 questions mapped to the TEKS that can be used to create assessments in language arts, math, science, and social studies for grades 3-11. Spanish items are also available in language arts and math for grades 3-5, science grade 5. Conceived as a tool to help inform instruction, WebCCAT enables an educator to select TEKS at the Student Expectation level and to create a unique assessment to diagnose or benchmark student knowledge on those TEKS. The bank features a wide variety of item types, including traditional multiple-choice, short-answer, open-response, and performance tasks. Items are written at varying levels of difficulty and thinking complexity. WebCCAT items are accessed through Eduphoria’s Aware module. Aware enables customized test building within an interactive format. The combination of Aware’s flexibility with the reliability of WebCCAT’s aligned questions provides an excellent tool for teachers and curriculum specialists to design superior assessments.
